Today, Al Ansaar team had the privilege of attending a meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Infantry Road, Bengaluru.

This meeting was organized by the Anti-Narcotics Wing and the Central Crime Branch.

The session focused on raising awareness about narcotics and their impact, particularly among students. Officials highlighted the growing concern of substance abuse among adolescents aged 13 to 17. They pointed out that many young individuals start with easily accessible substances like whitener and thinners, which often serve as a gateway to more severe addictions.

The discussion also addressed the use of more dangerous substances such as ganja, cocaine, MDMA, and other narcotics. Additionally, it was noted that substances like Tidal and Tramadol tablets are sometimes dissolved and used as injections to achieve a prolonged high. This practice is extremely hazardous and can lead to severe health complications, including death.

These addictions not only harm the physical and mental health of students but also lead to anti-social behaviors, further complicating their integration into society.

Guidance was provided on how to monitor and assist at-risk students, equipping educators and institutions with strategies to curb this alarming trend. The Al Ansaar team left the session with valuable insights and a renewed commitment to fostering a safe and drug-free environment.
