On May 13th, 2023, the Al Ansaar trust organized a free Sunnat e Ibrahimi camp in Alahalli, Bengaluru
, which was a great relief for poor Muslim families who find the cost of circumcision to be a financial burden.
The camp was successful in providing the much-needed service to 86 children, thanks to the dedication and expertise of medical practitioner Hakim Ahmed Pasha.
The camp started with a brief introduction to the importance of Sunnat e Ibrahimi in Muslim culture, which is the circumcision of male infants. Parents were advised on the necessary medication and aftercare needed for their children after the procedure. They were also informed about the precautions that should be taken to ensure the child's comfort and well-being.
The procedure itself was swift, taking less than 3 minutes for each child. The medical practitioner, Hakim Ahmed Pasha, skillfully and efficiently performed the circumcision. The children were then allowed to rest in a separate room, where they were provided with appropriate care. The gesture has helped many families who could not otherwise afford the procedure.
